NEXT-LEVEL FILLINGS WITH CERAMIC INLAYS AND ONLAYS
While composite white fillings are an excellent option for cavities, inlays and onlays may be recommended when decay is more extensive – but not bad enough to require a crown. Designed for your chewing teeth (molars), inlays and onlays are custom-made in a dental lab using your dental impressions. They fit snugly into the gap in your tooth, without the need to drill away any healthy tissue, and are made of stronger material than regular composite fillings. Inlays are placed within the biting surface of the tooth, whereas onlays can cover a larger area, including the space between teeth.

Created using your dental impressions, crowns are custom-made in a dental lab to cap your existing tooth, match its shade and save it from being extracted. If you have missing teeth, a dental bridge provides an ideal aesthetic solution, hiding the gap with a bespoke prosthetic tooth or teeth, secured at each end by crowns.

MODERN DENTURE SOLUTIONS
If you are missing some or all of your teeth, the modern dentures we provide at Kensington Dental Practice offer a long-lasting solution. Dentures come in a variety of materials, including metal, acrylic and nylon, and they are made in a dental lab using your dental impressions. Depending on the number of teeth that are missing, you will require either a partial or a full denture. Both options are removable and must be cleaned daily. Dentures can take a little getting used to, but at Kensington Dental Practice, we will support you, working together to ease your transition to dentures. If you are looking for a non-removable solution, you may wish to discuss dental implants. We offer a wide range of implant options that suit different needs and budgets, including implant-retained dentures and All-on-4.
