Veneers
Created from eggshell-thin layers of lifelike porcelain, veneers are ideal for those who want to make minor changes to their front ‘smiling’ teeth, and can conceal a number of dental issues simultaneously. Permanently bonded over your existing teeth, veneers can hide chips and gaps, smooth out irregularities, correct minor misalignment, and whiten your smile. Veneers can also be used in tandem with other cosmetic treatments, such as dental bridges. At Kensington Dental Practice, our experienced team will be able to talk you through the options, including the cost of veneers and what they can do for your smile.
Lumineers
Thinner and lighter than traditional veneers, the Lumineers brand uses high-tech, patented, lightweight materials to cover chips, gaps, discoloration, crooked teeth, or other mild cosmetic flaws – with minimal or no tooth contouring required. If your dentist recommends Lumineers for your smile, the procedure is straightforward and pain-free, and involves bonding the Lumineers to your existing front teeth. Available at Kensington Dental Practice, Lumineers generally involve less invasive tooth preparation than regular veneers, which can require you to have your teeth drilled or shaved down.
Multi-treatment Smile Makeovers
Many patients come to us because they are unhappy with their smile, but can’t always pinpoint exactly why. And the reason is often that there are lots of minor cosmetic issues, rather than one obvious problem. At Kensington Dental Practice, we are highly experienced at carrying out multi-disciplinary smile makeovers. It all starts with a free informal consultation, during which we’ll listen to your concerns and help you arrive at the right solution to suit your needs, lifestyle and budget. While veneers and Lumineers are often a great course of action, a smile makeover could include any number of treatments, from dental implants to Invisalign, gum sculpting, bonding and teeth whitening.
